De buit is binnen - Take a look at the catch of the day

Een zaterdag in oktober, een handwerkbeurs in Rotterdam en een gratis busreisje naar deze bestemming! Meer moet dat niet zijn voor een wollen madam om haar stapschoenen aan te trekken. We gaan op uitstap, joepie!

One Saturday in October, a craft fair in Rotterdam and a free bus ride! That's all a woolen lady needs to put on her walking shoes. We go on a trip, yay!

Veroorzaker van deze "hemel op aarde": onze chief-sToffen madam Sylvie (thanks Sylvie)! Dus trokken we gisteren met 2 bussen vol crea-addicts naar de Ahoy. Om daar terecht te komen in het Walhalla! De sToffen Madammen richting stoffenkraampjes ; de wollen madammen richting wolkraampjes.

Cause of this "heaven on earth": our chief Lady of Fabrics Sylvie (thanks)! So we went yesterday with 2 buses full of creative addicts to Ahoy. To find ourselves in Valhalla! The Ladies of Fabrics direction fabrics, the woolen ladies towards the tables with the most gordeous wool.

 2 strengen van een warm donkeroranje. Wonderbaarlijke samenstelling van 10% kasjmier, 10% baby kameel (nee mademoiselletjes, daarvoor is het babykameeltje niet moeten sterven), 40% angora en 40% merino. Pure luxe. Pure schoonheid.

2 skeins of a warm dark orange. Wonderful composition of 10% cashmere, 10% baby camel (no little Mademoiselles, the baby camel isn't dead now), 40% angora and 40% merino. Pure luxury. Pure beauty.

Daarnaast: zelfde pracht, dit keer in bosbeskleuren.

Dit was liefde op het eerste gezicht: 150g van de zachtste alpacawol die je ooit hebt gevoeld. Helemaal alleen voor Mme Stina. Wordt niet gedeeld. Never!

En op de valreep, toen de beurs al bijna was afgelopen en Mme Stina de buit aan het bewonderen was, viel haar oog op enkele vrije plaatsen bij de workshop wolverven van Textielwerk. En welke wereld ging daar voor haar open! Dit is absoluut voor herhaling vatbaar. Want alleen het voorlopig resultaat is al zo prachtig. Houd deze blog in het oog, want Mme Stina heeft al enkele wondermooie ideetjes in haar hoofd:

And at the last moment, when the fair was almost over and Mme Stina was admiring her purchases, her eye fell on a few free places at the workshop dying wool of Textielwerk. What a wonderful world of colours! This is definitely worth repeating. Only the preliminary result is already so beautiful.
